EMPLOYMENT/EXPERIENCE
 | Raytheon Engineers & Constructors (Princeton, New Jersey) 01/94-Present
Engineer/Analyst,
Performed piping stress analysis using several different computer applications on
different platforms (Unix Systems and Novell-networked PCs).
Maintained a large scale Piping Stress Analysis program PIPESTRESS2010 and its subsidiary
programs. Responsibilities included full life-cyle development and QA of software:
requirement specification, test planning, test execution, error and defect corrections.
Application Developer,
Designed new programs to facilitate engineering analysis as necessary. Typical projects
included: Word, Excel and Access applications using VBA, data conversion and utility
programs coded in C or C++, Intranet applications using Java Scripts. Unix Shell scripts
for applications on Unix platforms. Visual Basic front-ends for existing programs. |
 | EBASCO Services Inc. (New York, New York) 07/92-12/93
Assistant Engineer
Engineer/Analyst,
Performed piping stress analysis using several different computer applications on
different platforms (UNISYS A-15, VAX VMS, Unix, PC).
Application Developer,
Designed and maintained a program for fatigue analysis using FORTRAN, Designed
spreadsheets for less complicated engineering problems.
|
 | University of Missouri at Rolla (Rolla, Missouri) 08/90-05/92
Research Assistant
Developed an interface program for an existing radiation shielding program to perform
analyses for multi-layer shields. Interface programs are in C, existing programs are in
FORTRAN77.
Converted a neutron scattering program from FORTRAN II to C.
|
 | National Tsing-Hua University (Taiwan) 08/89-07/90
Full-time Research Assistant
Developed an interface program for an existing spectrum analysis program to use a new
method to locate energy peaks. This project involved moving the existing FORTRAN code on
CDC machine to Unix System, the interface program is in C.
Designed a program to convert existing reading plots to data using C.
