Comments: This is a wonderful site. I am an adoptive mom. My husband and I have 5 children ages 19, 16, 11,5,and 3. I am a busy sahm. Our youngest 2 children are adopted. It has been rewarding and challenging. I have really grown as a person since be began the adoption process and now have 2 beautiful sons to challenge us. The joy they heve brought us can not be measured. Would not change our minds to adopt. It is the greatest thing we have done in our 20 year marriage. Comments: We adopted a little boy 3 years ago from Romania. Would be glad to answer questions, share experiences with anyone interested in foreign adoption. Our son is now age 8 and doing fine; however, we did face language issues for awhile, still helping him with some speech issues. This has been a small challenge overall, compared to the joy he has brought our family. However, we do feel adoptive parents should do their research and be prepared for the realities of international adoption. Jane

Comments: I have joined your group for support on adoption, we have 5 adopted children,4 bio.I have been a foster parent for 7 yrs.and tried support groups, but the talk is always on just Fostering and not adopting, we no longer do foster care.i was looking for a group to share stories with, get some support and ideas.I checked your group out and you all seem very supportive on all issues.It was a long proces to adopt the ones we have, up and down for many years,but thankfully they are all here to stay,where they belong,and of course as tough as it was,it was worth the wait!!!
