| Spike here. Yes, I'm feeling a bit relaxed today. Sometimes I just exhaust myself. After lounging this morning on Anjie's bed, walking all the way downstairs to get myself a drink of water and a little bit of dry *caacckkk* cat food, and walking ALLLLL the way back upstairs to lounge again...man, that just makes a cat want to sleep all day long. Luckily for me Lizzy (aka Miss Snooty Nose) gave me a reason to chase her this morning. After all, a cat can only put up with soooo much snootiness. Hey, Anjie just developed this website for me. | Spike here. My owner saved money today. She went to the grocery store and got two for ones on some meat. Too bad she didn't get me some treats. :-( Oh well, I will just have to park myself in the bathroom sink when she takes a shower. That will show her. Or maybe I can dig through all the trash cans, knocking them all over and blame it on Miss Snooty Nose. *cat sneer* Yep, that's it. | Spike here. Well, today was a special day. Today I found the koosh ball that I had been looking for for the past 3 months! It just miraculously appeared downstairs and it was just BEGGING me to play with it. So I did. Let's see, what else did I do today? Oh yeah, ate a little, slept a little, ate a little more, slept a little more, rubbed up against the couch, drank water from the faucet, walked on the counters when no one was looking and of course, visited the big blue box in the kitchen. :-D Somedays I make myself laugh! *evil cat grin* | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Spike here. Well, today was a beautiful day in Kansas. I tried to sneak outside three times. Sometimes I like to just sit at the back door and cry. That usually doesn't work, but it sure is fun to drive the dogs wild with my crying. My owner has decided that fall cleaning should start today. I love this time of the year. I get to get into places that I'm not supposed to get into. The best place is in the clothes basket right after the clothes come out of the dryer. Anjie doesn't like it when I do that. She didn't save any money today but she didn't spend any, either. *cat smile* Later. | Spike here. My owner saved money today. Twice even! Her babysitter was sick and so she stayed home from work. So that means no charge for babysitting and no money spent on the 70 mile round trip commute! Whoohoo! Plus she got to stay home with the baby and all of us animals. It was so much fun. She scratched my ears and I rubbed against her chair. I'm hoping that she'll let me go outside for all this lovin that I'm showin her. Maybe I should try the ol' quick-sneak-out-the-door trick. *cat sneer* That sure is fun. Well time for my nap. My owner is currently away for a two-day training, so we'll see just what all I can get in to while she's gone. | Spike here. Well my owner finally made it back. She said she had a wonderful time but she had a mess to clean up when she returned. Miss Snooty Nose got into the trash can. I tried to warn her that it wasn't the "cat" thing to do, but you know how she can be! Anyway, I tried as hard as I could to put the trash can back but it just wasn't working for me. So I left it. Well I suppose it's time for me to check out the falling leaves and take a little nap. PS. I found the koosh ball Anjie hid from me. She's not very good at hiding things.
