Benjamins point of view of when Boxer died.
It was so terrible when Boxer got hurt. I was dragging some stone to the windmill when I heard the news. Boxer had over worked himself! He fell to the ground and did not get back up. And he was my friend too. Luckily he didnt die, but he still was severely hurt. I stayed with him for the next few days, keeping the flies away. We were waiting for the hospital truck that the pigs had promised would come. When it finally came, I was not around, for it was working hours. I did hurry over to see his departure though. Thats when I noticed the words printed on the truck. It read: ALFRED SIMMONDS, HORSE SLAUGHTERER and GLUE BOILER, WILLINGDON. DEALER in HIDES and BONE MEAL. KENNELS SUPPLIED. I was horrified when I saw those words. They were selling Boxer to the knackers! I followed the truck to try and warn Boxer. He heard me and struggled to get loose, but he didnt have the strength to break free. It was a horrible day, and I will never forget what those pigs did. To make matters worse, with the money they got from selling Boxer, the pigs bought whiskey.
