As I look through the haze all I feel is pain- All I hear is you screaming "you'll never get away".

As I look through the years, as I wrestle the fears, I know that you're right-it's written in my tears.

My dream is to touch you but I can't even speak- I feel so weak- But still my mind's on fire.

I dream of the razor-I dream of your touch- I would never get enough- I could never get any higher.

As I reach for the blade all I see is your face, And I can't slash deep enough to penetrate your trace.

As I bleed now I cry - and I can't help think why Something so unreal has haunted my whole life?

Guess I'm just meant to stay with stainless steel- and the feel- Of knowing nothing's real.

Guess that I thought I maybe had a choice- More than a voice- Let my blades rejoice.
