Good morning!  This is my first entry for our journal. This past week was a busy week. My son and I traveled to Denver on Friday to get a new seating system for his wheelchair. I must say it is awesome!! It was one of the longest days though as it took all day to get it done. However he sits so good now. We are hoping this will help delay his scoliosis a bit longer.
The news for this week is that we are traveling to Washington DC for the National FSMA conference. (Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy) I am so excited because we are going to be able to meet with some of the top doctors and therapist that deal with SMA on a daily basis. We also will learn of the new break throughs on an upcoming cure we hope. On Wednesday we will be traveling to Denver and we are going to spend the day at the zoo. Aschdon is excited because he wants to watch the big cats get fed. On Thursday we fly out. We have a lay over in Chicago for about an hour and then off to DC. This is the first time Aschdon will be able to interact with other children that are just like him.
Please keep us in your prayers for a safe flight and an informative conference.  God Bless Kenya
