With cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and a light-fallen snow,
Evergreen wreaths in shop windows and on every lamp post,
Wassail and candy canes and chestnuts to roast.

Gentlemen and ladies bundled in warm winter apparel,
Are standing on the corner singing a merry Christmas carol.
There's a feeling in the air as Christmas draws near,
As the last minute shoppers are filled with good cheer.

To complete this perfect scene, Helmut Lotti comes along,
