The 2004 season is off to a great start with a 2nd and 3rd place finish by dan so far this year!!!! due to some mechanical difficulties there was some doubt that we would even be racing this season but with those problems resolved, Dan is out tearing up the track and the competitors. dan will be running all the PA State points races this season in anticipation to take a top 5 points position at the end of the season advancing him to a higher class.
The April 18th race was a close one with dan just missing first place. on the last lap wile battling for the lead dan lost control of his # 38 predator and rolled it over but thanks to some helpful fans helped dan flip his predator back on it wheels. dan shook off the dizziness and managed to take home a 2nd place finish. little damage was done in the crash. just some bent handle bars and that's it. upon arriving home it was discovered that earlier on in the race wile landing off of a jump the remote reservoir on the front left shock was damaged. the manufacture Walker Evans Racing was contacted and they agreed to repair the shocks free of charge. but with so little time till the next race we will have to race it with the damaged shock at Hurricane hills on the 25th of April but it will be all fixed and running strong for the foot of the mountain race on may 2nd. we hope to see you all there to cheer dan on and see him bring home a first place finish
8/18/04 Helmstetter Racings next race will be on Sept 26 at the Flying Dutchmen MC in Pine Grove PA This is a very fast track and is the track that Dan is best at. We are hopping for a 1st place finish to make up for the DNF suffered at The Foot Of The Mountan race due to a damaged coil pack and 2 flat tires 1/2 way in to the first lap . When the damage happend dan was running in first place and that was thanks to an awsome holeshot . We hope to see u all at the Flying Dutchmen on the 26th |
