Opening statement:
When this game came out it was and is very controversial because of the cell shaded graphics, but I got it anyway just to try it out and give it a shot. The day I first bought it I had buyers remorse and was about to take it back but now im very glad I didn't ill tell you why.

Story: Like most all Zelda games this has a great story, but unlike the others the main character didn't start out as the hero to be, instead he was and young boy who was living peacefully on an island enjoying his birthday. Then all of a sudden a giant bird comes out of no where takes his little sister by mistake thinking it was tetra(Zelda). So being the loving brother he is decides to sail off with some pirates trying to help is sister and defeat the one who captured her,but its not as easy as it sounds he tries to save her gets defeated washes ashore to some island where he's sitting next to a talking boat. The boat says you will need to be stronger before you try to save her again. So you travel the earth doing good deeds along the way powering up and then you are ready to face the evil of evils Gannon.

Gameplay/controls: The gameplay to this game is the basic whack the crap out of enemies style(if you've played any other Zelda you know what I mean).Another part of the game play is sail through out the open sea which in my opinion was great.Yeah I know  some say its boring and takes to long but thats not true it helps flesh out the game and give it more depth , but I agree it does take awhile until you get the song balled of the gales which lets you teleport close to anywhere on the map. The controls of this game are good not great you select your inventory and place and item under a button X,Y,or Z.The button A attacks and R locks on.
9.5/10

Graphics: The most controversial part of this game was that the graphics are cell shaded. But don't let that fool you these graphics are awesome one of the best if not the best I've ever seen.I mean you can see his reflection in the water and the expressions on his face fit the moment great. All the time I hear people saying the wind waker sucks because of the graphics.Let me tell you those people are idiots even if the graphics were bad(they're defiantly not) that doesn't make the game bad.
10/10

Sound/Music: The sound in this was crisp and clear every thing matched whatever was happening. The music in this game was awesome it made the sad moments sadder and made the happy moments happier. It was so heroic as you sailed across the open sea ,you could hear the waves crash against the boat hear the wind whistling it was as if you were actually there.
10/10

Lasting/Replay value: The lasting value is good as is most Zelda. It took me about 20 hours to beat this game you could do it in less if you don't get extra items or you could do it in more if you did every thing the game has to offer. As I said in an earlier review I next to never replay a game, but as far as replaying goes this game is top notch you will be wanting to play this over just to get every item if you didn't the first time or just to play it over to understand the story better.
10/10

Overall: This game was one of my favorite games of all time.It was a truly epic adventure this game is a must have for all game cube owners. It does get hard during some of the dungeon puzzles but if you stick with it you'll be greatly rewarded. This game has one of the best endings ever ,you'll get alot of satisfaction from beating it.
9.9/10
