The lastest installment in the Mario Kart series, Mario Kart Double Dash. This game is filled with unlockable characters, Battle mode tracks, and secret karts. For the first time in Mario Kart history, there are two characters per kart. One person handles the driving duties while the character on the back wrecks havoc by throwing items, punching, and kicking. Also, each character has his or her own special item, clear the path in front of you using Bowser's supersized Koopa shell, or unleash a deadly Chain Chomp. With tons of unlockables and new features, Mario Kart Double is the must have racing game for any GCN owner.
Graphics: 10/10
Double Dash boosts the best graphics so far out of the Mario Kart series. Even the environments outside the tracks are full of detail. But you wouldn't have much time to admire the scenry because you have to focus on driving!
Sound: 9/10
Mario Kart Double Dash has lots of great sound effects and music packed into one disk. Die hard Mario Kart fans will love to listen to the sound of their tires when they are sliding and when shells are slamming into karts. Mario Kart fans that have played the other Mario Kart games have a lot to love as Double Dash also has music from Mario Kart 64!

Double Dash has the best controls just like all the Mario Kart games have. You'll never have to worry about the controls in this game! Why mess with perfection?
Replay Value: 10/10
It is very hard to put down this game with its awesome replay value just like before. New race cups like the All Cup Tour makes you wanting to come back for more!

Mario Kart Double Dash is a must have game for any Mario Kart fan. The two character per kart feature adds to the already great experience of the Mario Kart series. Overall, Mario Kart Double Dash is the best Mario Kart game to date!
