MY BLOODTHIRSTER
My Work in progress bloodthirster. Basically i base coated it with red gore then painted in layers with blood red and finally highlighting it in blazing orange.

However, after looking at the miniature, i felt that the orange highlight was too bright. So i gave it a magenta wash.

After washing with magenta ink, i re-highlighted the areas with blazing orange. The ink seems to blend well. Now my bloodthirster is a fearsomely red.

I have opted for black armour. Black is a hard colour to highlight. I used chainmail silver to highlight the edges and also a bit of skull white at the tips.

To create the shiny effect of armour, i opted to use my favourite trick which is gloss varnishing
The Horns are done by painting streaks of Skull White on a black base coat using a 3/0 brush
Finally done with the painting. I am going to do a pile of bones for the base.
