| My Mini Maw Pit | |||||||||||||||||||
| After painting some ogres, i decided that it would be fitting to embark on a terrain project for my ogres. Thus the Maw pit was born. It is written in the fluff that Ogres dig stake lined pits which represents the Maw. With that in mind, i set about my first OK terrain piece. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Basically i used some fine pumice on a piece of sturdy cardboard and then brushed it with Fortress Grey and highlight with Skull White. I used some toothpicks to represent the stakes. Since the toothpicks already have wood lines, it was sufficient to wash them with thinned Flesh Wash. To simulate the blood and gore, i used splash Blood Red randomly over the stakes. To give it a nasty look, i dug up some old Skeleton heads and tha da......The Maw Pit. And i did a small diorama (below). | |||||||||||||||||||
