You said you loved Me, I believed
I gave My will and you agreed

Over time, your own path you’ve made
Even after the price I paid
You try so hard to follow My path
But twisted words have churned up wrath

Time is short - there’s work to be done
But futile quarrels have begun
Enter the bedlam - the innocent pay
From closed minds within the twisted day

The victim is you, not Me
It’s for My glory that you should see

Instead of sharing My love with friends
The dissension among you already begins

Time is short - your unknown destiny has been set
Feel destruction’s breath breathing down your neck
You blame this on others and fight in your homes
To keep from having to leave your comfort zones
Tribulation is over - the days of life are gone
Your friends aren’t with you
And you wonder where they went wrong
Your life is at an end - your flesh given to birds
Only because My trials you’ve failed due to twisted words

An unseen lampstand
Thereupon is a star
Its life faintly flickers
Seen from afar

As rivers of fury and oceans of hatred grow
The lampstand is darkened and with it its glow
You must not grow weary or forget what you’ve heard
Blood was shed on the cross before those twisted words
