Romans 5:19

        If a man were to inject himself in the arm with something harmful like gasoline or bleach, it wouldn’t just stay in that one spot.  Instead, it would spread throughout the whole body making him sick, maybe killing him.  The first part of Romans 5:19 says “Because of one man’s disobedience, the many were made sinners….” When Adam disobeyed God, it caused the whole world to be born into sin.

         But, if a doctor injected something like an antibiotic it would likewise spread throughout the whole body, attacking the problem, making the man well again.  The last part of Romans 5:19 says “…but because of one mans obedience, the many were made righteous.”  Jesus died for us on the cross so we can be cleansed of our sins and freely obtain His salvation.
