Syringe was formed in June 2000 when drummer Michael Robles and guitarist/vocalist 
Derek Corzine, led by God, decided to create music that exceeds genres; pushing the 
boundaries musically while remaining uncompromised in faith and lyrical content.  After 
strategically placing flyers at musician hot spots, bassist Ricky Pool and guitarist James 
Urias came into the fold.  Syringe composed and performed music for a year when 
keyboardist Krickett joined the ministry.

            Now, this group of 5 exceedingly talented musicians play their own unique hybrid 
of music, combining such styles as black metal, death metal, hardcore, progressive, speed 
metal, classical, Latin, and jazz to create…Syringe!
