Oh Brother, Where Are You

Oh brother where are you,
The one I look up to,
Will you ever find your way,
Gather your strength and stay.

So much I haven't learned,
So many bridges I have burned,
So many lies I have told,
But with you I never got old.

I could do no wrong in your eyes,
Now you've gone to join the skies,
Will you watch me from above,
I share your soul I share your blood.

I remember when we were boys,
Our petty fights over toys,
Had we wasted all those years,
It's hard to put away fears.

Catching me when I'd stray,
You never knew another way,
Who will catch me if I fall,
I wonder if anyone at all.

You'd always know what I was doing,
When I had a bad idea brewing,
I can't fight life on my own,
With your help is all I've known.

Now I've lost you in one cold night,
And I don't think I have the strength to fight,
Oh brother where are you,
I never got the chance to thank you.
