HELLO IM "ODIE CHANDLER..all of my life Johnnie Cash has had an impact on my life..not only because of his music. but the kind of person he was.johnnie was not a accopmlished musician by any means...far from it..he proved that any person could do what ever they wanted to if they wanted to bad enough..i was so frustrated trying to teach myself how to play the guitar when i couldnt even read music or even understand the concept of a chord..my father played ,wrote and sang all of his life..with some of the greatest country artists of our time..he never taught me anything about it and now i understand why...we are ALL self taught ...i was the last one of 4 kids to ever start playing and singing...now i am probably the best kept secret in southern arizona...untill now..now i am "THE ONE MAN BAND""HELLO IM NOT JOHNNIE CASH"...but i dont try to sound like him it just comes out that way..probably partly because i am from the same part of the u.s.a. as johnnie and we pronounce our words the same and i was born with that same DEEP,rich baratone voice that so many times demands a listeners attention..but i do sevreal other legends besides johnnie..including waylon jennings..merle haggard..conway twitty and george jones just to mention a few..and i do them all just as well as the johnnie songs i do..you will never hear anyone sing with anymore feeling than i put into my music...my music is my life..music is about all of our lives...thats why it is just as good for the listeners as it is for the artists..ive sang with bands and alot of times all they do is fight over the money..i never was or ever will be in it for the money...once the money means more than the art and the fans then one has sold thier soul...so instead of putting up with all of that i started playing my guitar and singing with professional recored music and the music is right behind me just like a live band only i can do it at a fraction of the cost of hiring a live band and the sound is as good if not better...find out what alot of people who know me has known for years..BOOK ME NOW.. i never thought i would be going to prison and doing johnnie cash songs but i have.right here in arizona..on the other side of this web page you will find a link CLICK HERE press them links and hear for yourself...now anyone in arizona can have me at your party or special occasion..every time when i get ready to leave somewhere ive played everyone always says thank you odie..and i say NO THANK YOU...the more the listeners get into what im doing .THE BETTER I AM...its you the fans who made me who i am..i want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart..for without you..I am NOTHING" ive been blessed with some of the best friends a human being could ever hope for and i know there are many more yet to come..the ones ive spoke of you know who you are..I love you all....Music is one of the Best Things that ever happened to "MANKIND"..
