Thankfully using a mangle to remove extra moisture from laundry is a thing of the past; happily a legacy of our ancestors� hard work is the supply of linen mangle cloths. These 3m long pieces of heavy quality linen make fantastic hard wearing aprons and peg bags as well as more decorative items. They are characterised by the stripe running along each selvedge.
I always have some available although the condition and colours available vary.
Choose from beige with red or pink stripes or cream with scarlet or blue.
The blue are always in short supply but I buy them whenever possible.
