Childhood & Awakening

Morgan was born on April 22, 1978 to William Blake & Mary Patricia Szarabajka in rural Connecticut. He is the middle kid having an 18 month older sister and 2 year younger brother.  His dad was a general contractor and his mom worked at home caring for the family. Morgans parents were happy and a very loving couple, and both of his parents worked hard at their jobs.

After years of renting and saving they had finally had their own house and everyone was excited to say the least. Especally 7 year old morgan who thought it was a dream come true.  As they were getting everything moved in over a period of several days, young morgan noticed something was odd about his house.

The first clue came when he was he was moving stuff into his room, and going down the hallway, he felt a heaviness, it just had an errie look and an errie feel to it. He knew that there was something that was scaring him, but he wasnt sure what.  He also noticed that his older sister Patty was uncomfortable in the house, perticular in the hallway.

It was scary, you just felt fear going down this hallway. she had the room at the end of the hall and that room was always cold. Before they moved into that house, they had a very typical family.  Everyone was happy. When Mary was home alone, she would hear strange noises as she made the beds after William had gone to work and the kids were off at school.

When she would go to investigate, Mary would find out that she was there by herself and when she returned, the made beds would be unmade which scared her alot. Mary's mother, Hellen lived a few minutes away and would often tell her of these experiences and was concerned for her child and grandchildrens safty.

Several times when they talked on the phone, doors would open and close and the bathroom sink would turn on and off and on occasion overflow and run into the hallway. Mary told her mother that she feared the house was haunted.  Morgan had overherd  his mother and grandmother talking over the telephone about the water faucet incedent and that really alarmed him.

He really at that time had no true idea of what was going on. Later that night at dinner his mother told his father about the water faucet incedent. his father brushed it off as it was an old house and old houses at times do need to be fixed.  He also explained away the bed incedent by her being tired and forgot.

This got her upset as she was not tired and did not forget to make the beds. William was a very tough man. He was one of them no nonsense type of men. He just did not want to accept that there was even the possibility of any type of ghostly phenomena going on in his house.

As the kids all slept that night Morgan was awakened by noises in his room. He awoke with fear as it sound like someone was walking around in his room, heavy footsteps, like someone that would have a heavy soled shoe on, yet noone was there. The young boy hid underneath his covers for several moments and peeked his head out to see if it had stopped, which it had not.

The next day at breakfast, he had tried to tell his parents about the footsteps on the cealing, but as usual his father told him that it was a squirrell or something in the walls. His father had tried to convince his wife that it was a small animal, and he would go check it out.  Williams lack of concern for what was happening to his family slowly begins to drive a wedge between him and Mary.

As the months slowly passed Morgan, his sister, brother and mother continue to hear odd tappings on the walls, strange smells, heavy footsteps in the night.  However sadly soon after that, they father became the families greatest concern.  Not even a year after they had moved in and these events had started to occure on a regular basis, he started developing this heavy drinking problem and would often come home drunk.

It progressivly got worse to the point to where he would stay out for a couple of days at a time. his buisness was failing because of it. Now Morgan truly believes that these negative entities that were in his house knew which buttons to push and were setting out to divide and conquorer his family.  William and Mary would have arguments where he would tell her to ignore it and it would go away, where as she would tell him that there was something unnatural in the house and she was afraid for everyone.

Their arguments would keep young Morgan up at night and at the time he did not know what to think.  Now as an adult looking back on it, there is no question in his mind that these entities were fueling his fathers dark side.  Later that night, he herd some strange creaking in his room and was awoken by these noises.  Suddenly he was violently attacked by whatever was in the room. Morgan wanted to scream out but was unable to. His mouth would not even work as he was violently assualted by this unseen entity.

His world was spinning when suddenly it stopped and he looked up and there was this transparent woman staring at him for a few moments then vanished. Morgan wimpered and hid under his covers for a few moments before taking a deep breath, then getting up and getting out of bed to look around.

Morgan at this point ran to his mom as any child would do and he told her that he absulutley did not want to go back into his room and was terrified of it.  Mary was going to join him in his room when his father told her to stay put and for him to go back to bed.  At this point in time, the most traumatic thing had just occured to him and his parents were sending him back to his bed.

He did not go back to his room however and instead went to the couch. It is something that has stayed with Morgan all of these years and is one of the moments that he has never forgotten. Two yeard of unexplained events has taken their toll on everyone in the family.  His older sister spent the night at friends because of the presence that she would always feel for one reason. Another is the constant feeling of fear.

One night when his older sister came home after she had gotten out of the shower, she herd the floor creak and as she went to investigate she felt unsettled and it got to the point to where she could not stand it. She did not want to be there.  That night as she was laying in bed, she felt something touch her leg.  Not for one second did she think that there was an intruder in the house. she, like everyone but William, knew it was something else.

After that, his sister Patty moved out of the house and into a friends house to which his mother begged her to change her mind but she stuck to her guns and moved out.  It is so unfortunate that it went from being this loving family to a very cold family that was existing on a day to day basis. That night at dinner his parents started to get into an argument.

Morgan at this time felt very angry, he was withdrawn, and had this hatred for his father for not doing anything, for not getting them out of that enviroment with those evil entities that were destroying them.  Then one day, William said he would be back and left.  Morgan thinks it was so ironic. His father was the one that wanted to fight and stay and he was the one that ended up leaving while his mother was the wone who wanted to leave and ended up staying the whole time.

Morgan realised that at this point in his life, his mother was the only one left who could help him cope with what was haunting their home. That night Mary was violently choked by the entity that was in the house as it took the form of a scarred civil war soldier. However as she woke up, she realised that it was only a dream. She got up and went to lay with her two sons to protect them if she could.

She confided in her oldest son that she saw it too and was afraid. From this night on, Mary spent almost every night in their sons bedroom. At this point there was 3 of them left in the house and were living out of 1 bedroom.  At breakfast one day, she complained that she was not feeling good and collapsed onto the floor. Morgan called his grandmother as he did not know exactly what was wrong, but he knew that somethign was wrong with his mother.

His mother was taken to a hospital and was informed that his mother had had a mild stroke and would need to be hospitalized for additional tests for an any other conditions. She recovered several days layer and was sent home but would eventually require dialisis for her failing kidneys.  His grandmother was convinced that the entities in the home were the cause of the problems. At this point, she was in poor health and could not work and they were stuck there.

As much as she would have loved to have gotten out of that house, there was an underlining factor to which Morgan truly believes that it was the entities themselves that were controling her to keep her from moving. That night, a flying glass cup flew from the shelves and hit his mother in the face. Morgan and his brother got up to go investigate.

She went back to the hospital as she needed stitches to close the wounds on her face. At this point they were living in a daily nightmare. The things that occured in that house were attrocities.  Morgan went outside every night and looked up at the sky and wanted help from a higher power or otherwise.

Several months pased and Patricia meets a man named Joseph Tyson they hit it off rather quickly and began to date. Joe one day saw the "woman" that morgan had seen one day as he was working on the lights.  He however knew what he had saw and knew something was up even though he could not explain it. He knew the house was haunted from that moment and wanted them all to leave.

And she did not want to leave because she had nowhere else to go. She could not afford another place and was the type of person who did not like handouts. Desperate for help, they turned to Father Tom Marlowe, a Roman Catholic priest from a local parish to belss her house.

She explained to him about the strange activity and asked for him to come down and see what he could do to solve the problem. He preformed a blessing of the house, commanding the spirits that in the name of jesus christ to go back from wence they came.  He does not sense the presence of any spirits. He then tells the family that if the spirits return that they should sprinkle holy water and recite what is called an intercessery prayer.

An Intercessery Prayer is a prayer requesting that god would come in some way (dramatic or otherwise..) and remove the evil spirits. He also gave young Morgan a blessed medal of St. Benedict and told them that with this type of blessing he did not need to do it and that anyone could.  Later that same day as they were going to get some icecream, books started to fly off the shelves and started to hit them.

Morgan could not take it any more and grabbed both the medallion and the holy water and decided to confront the entity himself.  He became enraged and and was ready to do battle with these entities and at that moment, he was psychologically ready and made itself known. Morgan had awakened and he commanded that in the name of Jesus Christ, all the Martyrs and Saints, and Saint Michael, the Archangel, I command you to leave and go back to where you came from.

His family joined in and the entity responded by throwing objects at Morgan, opening and closing all of the doors  and eventually attacking the right side of Morgans face, causing them to stop and leave the house. It was at this point that they took what was left of their family and left with several suitcases full of clothing for them all.

Everyone is relieved, but young Morgan is tortured by not knowing who or what was haunting his house. Their childhood was robbed because of the house and the events that took place in the house. 10 months after leaving the house, his mother died of a cerebral hemmoriage.

Life & Training With Father Marlowe

It was during this time, that he became a ward of Father Marlowe while their grandmother raised his older sister and younger brother. The priest had sensed the boys potential and had a hunch that something like this could happen. He also realised that sadly the boy and his families childhood was over and that life for them begain the moment they set foot into that house. And so Morgan began his training as a Celestial Chorus under the priest in addition to a regular education.

It was here that Morgan also made a vow to help others in his situation and that nobody should have to suffer what he went through and so with Father Marlowe's mentorship, he starts out on the path of a paranormal investigator, first learning about what factions he was now apart of which was the One Voice. However they were also apart of the Monists and Latitudinarians factions as well as they all strived for the same goals and the members were members of the other factions as well, being as their goals and beliefs were so closley related.

He found out he was what was called an Awakened or Mage and that Vampires, Werewolves, Changelings and (even though he did not need to be told..) Ghosts existed.  The priest also tells the boy that it was not his fault and did his best to try and explain things to the best of his abilities in a way that the young boy would understand.

His father, as Morgan found out one day, died several years later, not having patched things up with his family. Also the right side of Morgans face still bears the scar from that fateful encounter and serves as a reminder as well. His right eye also has limited vision in it.  Father Marlowe had over time explained to him about metaphysics, theology, and lessons in magick in addition to his regular school studies.

Morgan spent roughly 7 years with the old man till he was 16, his training was complete and had helped by awakening at an early age. In addition to being one of Father Marlowe's chief investigators, he was also his assistant for 5 years untill his 21 st birthday.  Over that period of time untill his departure, the young man was involved in numerous cases as he got older, both for the church and for regular people.

On His Own

As Morgan left on his own and opened his own Paranormal Investigative service, he met a blonde haired, blue eyed woman named Lia St. Charles, a strung out on meth head who had hooked up with this gang of bikers, with whom a few of them was messing around with the occult. One of them was into black magic and ended up opening some doors he should not have and most of the group was pulled into it.

One night most of them were in this barn doing a ritual, and Lia tipped him off and he showed up, like something out of a movie. And as his ex puts it "looked all bad ass in his black outfit and was cussing out what they summoned in latin." They fought throught the night and Morgan was victorious.

He got Lia straight,  and stayed by her in rehab for 3 months while she kicked the habit. It took alittler longet to get rid of the various spirits that followed her due to her prior envolvment in the biker gang.

As an open minded individual, Morgan studied some of the other religions with Father Marlowe as Morgan put it, "Evil does not stick to any one religion, so why should he.." they traveled to Arizona and it was there that he learned Shamanisim from a Dreamspeaker from the Camp, the Keepers of the Sacred Fire named Joe Strong Eagle. Morgan endured the heat of the sweat lodge, the numbing hunger and lonlieness of the vision quest, learning ceremonies, medicine and customs, but it was all worth it in the end, as he learned how to walk in balance with the Great Spirit. Joe's left his student with several parting gifts, a medicine pipe, a talisman, a medicine bag, and bright red blanket with a yellow turtle in the center of it. Lia and Morgan spent two years there.

Morgan's next stop was Hati to learn Voudoun from an dual tradition Euthanatos/Dreamspeaker of the Ta Kiti/Keepers of the Sacred Fire Faction named Ducas St. Croix.  Though it's interesting that while in Hati he met a Hermetic scholar from The House Bonisagus that was down there researching Voudoun named Harry Brolin and so in addition to studing with Ducas, he also studied with Harry and learned alchemy, theosophy, the cabala and other mystic lore with the two men. In the end, however once again morgan completed his task, and earned the right to be called a priest of Voudoun and to build his own houmfort.

Their parting gifts to Morgan was a asson,a gourd filled with rattlesnake vertebre, a sacerdotal sceptre which grants him the power to call upon his loa or spirit, another Voudoun talisman, and a bracelet from the hermetic that has little miniature shields from The Book of Soloman on it.

However this was bitter sweet for morgan, as Lia left him a year and a half into his studies with Harry and Ducas, stating that she wanted a normal life and as much as she loved him, he could not give that to him, and she left to go back stateside. He spent a grand total of 4 years traveling abroad and returned home shortly before his 25th birthday.

Return Home

Morgan checked up on Lia who was now married with a child, which caused some mixed reactions in him as they often talked about having children and becoming parents, though she would never tell him the fact that she could never see him as the daddy type and also still thinks of him as a troubled kid at times.

His older sister had opened up her own art gallery to which she sells her own paintings as well as various other artits and his younger brother is a roadie. He also made a small paranormal museum of various artifacts that he collected upon his investigations and travels which is available by private invitation only.

He also met a fellow CC member named Vivian Stone with whom they have shared several adventures together and have since become lovers. Morgan also met an older man named Joseph Carter who is a Psychology professor who has become one of his friends and has since assisted him on several cases from a Psychology point of view.
