Founded in 2001
Consists of 50 "super-commandos" trained in all Special Forces schools in Greece and some abroad.
Capable of surviving in mountain, sea, desert, forest with a climate range from arctic to tropical.
Equipment: similar with other special forces. They operate from Eurocopter Super Puma helicopters.
Mission: combat search and rescue of fallen pilots behind enemy lines.
