To: Seattle Times Editors and Reporters

I am appauled by our order of priorities here in Seattle. We build a music museum for tourists, but we can't build a monorail for the people here? If we truly want to restore Social Security and Medicare, we must stop importing apples, regardless of the tax revenue. I have sent another report on education to Governor Gary Locke. When will we finally understand that kids are our most precious resource? If Paul Allen is so concerned about charter schools, why doesn't he do anything to save our salmon? They will be saved when we elect intelligent public officials. Growth management strategies and dam removal schemes are only supported by Seattle's limousine liberal establishment. When Paul Schell vetoed the All Ages Dance Ordinance, he convinced us that he was out of hiding from France. Maybe he should pay more attention to Seattle. At least before we remove him from office. (Ha!) The Times, owned by the Blethen family, refuses to tell its readership that a vote for Ralph Nader will prevent Pat Buchannan from winning the presidency. Is the Times afraid of reporting these facts to the people? Perhaps we will cancel our subscriptions, then?

Sincerely,
Forrest Greif
