Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett went to St. Valentines Day Massacre to successfully defend their Tag Team Championship belts against Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown. Owen and Jarrett won when Jarrett beat Mark Henry with the figure four. Debra was in the corner of Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett and someone named Ivory was in the corner of Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown. She was seemingly the answer to Debra but couldn't help Henry and D'Lo win the Tag Team Championship.
Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett, the Tag Team Champions have been on a roll in the World Wrestling Federation. They went to Wrestlemania to defend against an odd team in Test and D'Lo Brown. They easily won the match as Test and D'Lo Brown couldn't work together as a team, because they weren't friends. Owen Hart and Jarrett went to RAW the next night to defend the belts against a legendary team in the WWF in the Legion Of Doom. They successfully defended with their tactics of using Debra as a distraction.
On an edition of RAW is WAR, X-Pac and Kane challenged Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett for the Tag Team Championship, and surprisingly Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart lost the belts. Jarrett and Owen went through just about every team in the WWF, and then they got beat by two people who could hardly work together as a team! Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart fight and fight to get their gold back as they'll go against the New Age Outlaws at In Your House: Backlash to determine who will get a shot at the WWF Tag Team Championship most likely the night after Backlash. Owen Hart and Jarrett weren't able to defeat the New Age Outlaws, so that means that the Outlaws will get a shot at the WWF Tag Team Titles during WWF Smackdown on Thursday, April 29.
Owen Hart took on the persona of the Blue Blazer for a while, and he was scheduled to go against the Godfather for the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship at Over The Edge. Owen was to make a super hero entrance for his match when something went terribly wrong. Owen Hart apparently fell 50 feet from the ceiling into the ring, and his head hit the turnbuckle with his head snapping. Medics hauled him off to a hospital, where he was later reported dead. Owen Hart had a great career in the World Wrestling Federation and he will be greatly missed and always remembered for his great wrestling ability and his performance inside that ring. It is a sad thing what happened to Owen Hart, God rest his soul. Owen Hart left behind a wife and two children along with a huge wrestling family with his brothers and brother in laws.
