For all practical purposes this is my very first film. Though I was
commited to shoot for Director Charan's 'Jay Jay' a few weeks prior to
the start of this film, it was director Maharajan who made me face the
camera in a feature film for the very first time. The first 5 pictures
you see on the right were shot on that very day. I cant seem to
remember the exact date but it was either the 16th or the 18th of July
2003. 'Anchaneya' was also the first to release.
One of the assistant directors on the team was bent on making me look
as ugly as possible. I sported a scar on my right arm, wore a wig for
the long hair and put on a darker shade of makeup.
I played the role of a gangster leader who kills 3 government officials
from the educational department over granting lisences to people
favoured by my boss. The situation turns bad when I hunt down and kill
a witness. Ajith the hero in the film turns a negative situation to his
advantage and shoots me to death in front of my boss.
