The Orinoco River

The Orinoco River is the biggest and longest river in Venezuela. It rises deep in the south of Amazonas State and flows almost through this state, along the border
of Bolivar State and falls into de Caribean See.

The Orinoco River is formed by a lot of other rivers from the Llanos (Plains) and the Sabana. This condicion provides a great variaty of  fishes like for example
Peacock Bass, Payara, Sabalo, Cat Fish, etc.

In the Amazonas State we can find a lot of crystal clear rivers which in some parts cause white waters (rapids) that create the ideal invirement for some species like the
Cat Fish, Peakock Bass and Payaras.

Our location will be in the heart of the rain forest, which is a special place for all natur lovers, botanics, bird watchers and of course anglers.

Using  different rivers we reach the
Autana Tepuy, which is a holy place for the
natives of this region.

Proudly we can offer a
very special tour, that goes south by the Orinoco River into the Casiquiare River and then to the Rio Negro. This tour, because of its nature is only possible with a minimum of 4 participants, and its duracion is 20 days.

The return from Rio Negro is by plain, which will be arranged for all participants,
but because of the changing conditions we cannot include this in our price.
And because this is a special tour, it is not included in our normal tours
and it has to be planned and confirmed by us.
