| Here you can see photos of Diana and me during our trip to New York City. For Diana it was the first time there and she was pretty excited to explore THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is Diana and me on Brooklyn Bridge. Diana has been teasing me the whole way to Brooklyn bridge cause we went from Christopher Street over Broadway and passed Canal Street... And Canal Street is a shopping paradise. You get everything - cheap! You just have to be good at bargaining! I bought some china but I just couldn't get enough... I would have stopped again but... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here you can see Marco with Diana in Central Park. This was on one of our last days in NYC. That is why Diana could smile like that. During the first 4 or 5 days she was running from one drug store to the other to find her desired shampoo and conditioner from Paul MItchell. No kidding, we had to stop at every drug store we passed so she could look for the shampoo. She made it her life goal to buy that stuff. She was also caught by the shopping fever and spend most of her money at Victoria's Secret. However, we only had one hardcore-shopping-day which was magic monday when we went with the bus to the Woodbury Common Factory Outlets. 7 hours nonstop shopping!!! After that day our credit cards were thin as paper... At first Diana really hated New York. It was too busy, too loud and too dirty for her. While Marco was in love with the city from the first day on and explained that he never wanted to go back to Germany Diana needed a little bit more time to see the good sides of NYC. I guess she really started enjoying it when we went to the musical "Saturday Night Fever". In Germany you have to buy tickets more than half a year in advance to see a musical but in New York it is different. We baught the ticket three hours before the show started. The musical was fantastic and we all catched the fever! |
