(none can be shown here!) i was also togo to :"judgement Sunday" that same nite, and was askin myself how i was going todo it!..gah. i stayed at Space till 10pm. then i took a cab, and went to my hotel, got changed and walked to Eden, which was just 10mins away from our hotel...... > > > |

![]() Event: Renaissance Club: Amnesia Dj's: Danny Tenaglia (filled in for a sick john Digweed!) + Hernan Cattaneo so.....it was the 3rd time visiting Amnesia... :) love that place! :) .... :) ..... We were at Cafe Del Mar beforehand , and had actually planned on a quiet one, due to the fact that we had a ferry leaving at 9am the following morning! but, from word of mouth and some last minute ads, Danny Tenaglia was added to the bill, so we didnt think twice!...the only bummer was arriving to the venue and then findin out that Digweed was not there due to an illness! DAmmit! oh well. we couldnt complain. but it was a shame i couldnt get to hear digweed, yet again.! :/ next time.! Hernan was playing some fine progressive house, with a little tech and trancey melodies mixed in. He didnt dissapoint me..very good djin skills! Danny did fine as well. similar set to his other one i had heard a few days before, but still rocked the place! :) .... top nite! |
![]() Event: Creamfields UK Place: Old Liverpool Airfield Djs: hundreds!...erm well. go see for urselves: http://www.cream.co.uk Fresh from a weeks worth of clubbing madness in Ibiza, i was ready to do it all over again!...So many dj's .....yet so little time, and not only that, those damn Time Clashes! doooh!...i hate that. i wanted to spend alll day and nite in the Global Underground Tent, and then there was the cream arena and the live stage! damnit!..... so choices had to be made! :/ ..... We got picked up by our driver, and then drove of to the venue, also picking up Canadian Techno dj, dj Tiga.. ... We finally arrived and received our press passes...so off we went....whilst walking into the main entrance, we met Ferry and his manager, Dave Lewis, and also Daves mum...coming out of their car. ferry was due on after Armin van Buuren, who was due on a few mins of us getting there...so....as usual. i wanted my uplifting trance fest, so i started off the nite in the Passion Arena, to the sounds of Armin van Buuren....and what a crowd pleaser he is! great music, ..that the crowd begged for more, and armin didnt dissapoint. he finished his set with a cheely little bootleg of pvd's famous for an angel. not as good as the original, but made everyone go crazy! ...so, Ferry was next on the dex....Ligaya, Punk and so on...loads of floofillers....and loads of hands in the air. it was definately a momen being behind him as he dropped Ligaya...the place looked so alive, and the lighting was so amazing...top stuff!.... during ferrys set, we ran out to the live stage, where underworld were playing...aahhhh..shame i couldnt stay for all, but hearing their classics was definately a moment!! wooaaah!... so ...ferry wrapped up, and then we made our way to the cream main arena. Oakenfold was playing, and my standout tune was his remix? of U2's - staring at the sun! amazing track and a sweet remix! :) ..... after Oakie, Tiesto came on and continued the trance fest. he started off with SaphireCuts - free ur mind! ooh there we go again..my fav track no doubt. :) and continued to set the pace for Paul van Dyk, who was on after him....Paul came on to the most noisiest reception...i guess everyone was there to hear him! :) ... again, track after track. the best tunes, the best mixin ahh..wot more can i say!...moment for me was backstage, dancing like a maniac to the sounds coming out of those huge speakers.....Superb! :) ...and then him playing for an angel! wooaa.. great moment.. :) .... after paul, another paul came on, Tall Paul... :) .we left and ventured around the other arenas, and grabbed one of those yukkie tasteless burgers to eat as we were so damn hungry. not that u care wot it tastes like, u just eat it! eww!... :/ ... it was hell cold too. and i had a jacket that still made me cold. so we walked back into the Passion tent and spent some time listening to Guy Ornadel.....Lucient Foort also came in, and we talked to him for a while. kool guy.. must be the dutch boyz! :) ...armin ferry and so on. are all very open and friendly with everyone and so they should. they are only human afterall! :) .... so....the nite continued on ..and eventually it was soon daylight. We went into the BuugedOut! arena, and spent the last few hrs listening to Slovenian Techno Dj and Producer, Umek !..wowowowow! he was playing and workin all those knobs on the mixer, along with some FX unit....it was very kool. he didnt dissapoint, and the thousands of clubbers still in the arena showed this..... . .eventually, it was all over... :( all good things come to an end as they say....so when 6am hit, we were all marshalled out to the cold. and it was raining slightly. great! : / ... we all looked like zombies walking out to the exit of the airfield ..it was a very funny sight indeed!..especailly that more than 1/2 of the crowd were all drug f****...LOL .... very very funny to watch! we got into our shuttle bus, and headed for the station. ..it took us 5hrs waiting till we finally boarded the first train available into London! f*** they had picked a great time to do trackworks eh?....nevermind,. got home to London safely, and thats wot mattered. 11/10! an event ill remember for a long time! :) |
@ ![]() Event: Gatecrasher Club: Heaven, London Dj's: Paul van Dyk, Ashley Casselle, + more Back in London, and loving it. spent all day at 2nd hand record stores, and got loads of classic stuff, some hard to find ones indeed! :) .. so...tonite was Gatecrasher's monthly gig at Heaven in London...i caught the underground to charing Cross and made my way down villiers lane to the club. i was there early and there were already hundreds of clubbers waiting to get inside. i met 2 brothers who are devout GC fans. they havent missed one event yet!...very kool. we soon got in after 10, and i grabbed a drink and chilled....Ashley Casselle was on first, warming up the crowd with his trademark proggy beatz... ive seen him a few times now, and he gets better and better i must say! classic stuff.. loved it. soon Paul came on and at this point, the crowd was massive! there were definately too many ppl inside there, thats for sure! : / loads of sweaty bodies, and minimal aircondition! it was like a furnace! god!..that shouldnt happen! u need aircon! gah! . anyway, i couldnt complain, as i was inside the vip area for a while, to cool off from the intense heat. it was so unbearable! i even saw a girl colapse.... :/ a bad sight thats for sure. fortunately she was ok.. ..so on to the nite. ,massive trancers...the highlight: definately pauls re-edit of Sasha;s wavey Gravy....ggood god, u can only imagine my reaction! crazy!!!..and everyone in the place went nuts....pauls re-edit works well with his set,. it has the distinct pvd bassline and it fits so well! very nice and i hope it gets released! .... all in all...once again...it was a very enjoyable set, but i do hope they do somthing about that air con! !!!! |
| DENMARK Event: Okyo, Copenhagen, Denmark Club: Vega Djs: Paul van Dyk + localz Pvd cancelled a few hours before....sure, it .was a shame, as i had a few friends that had traveled all the way from Northen sweden to hear him....but he is human, and does need time off if hes not feeling too well!. e specially when his hearing is concerned! :! |
