Good idea changing the "Parting Shots" descriptor to "Shiller in Action..." and including the "update"

date.  It leads the viewer to new data.

We also received Shiller's promotion piece and noted its failure to address the issue of crime. 

Have you ever attended a Beat 2311 CAPS meeting? They are held the first Tuesday of each month

at Truman College, 7:00 PM.  The last one turned into a screaming fest.  Perhaps at the next one

there will be an opportunity to actually spend time properly addressing crime issues versus having Helen's supporters pressing for non-crime issues and their desire for a "Police Accountability Committee" or "Peace Patrol Committee" or "Stop Criminalization In Uptown Committee."

The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4th, 7:00 PM and the agenda includes

prostitution, police roll call, the One Strike law, response to complaints, neighborhood major

incidents, narcotic sales, court advocacy.

One of the co-facilitators of Beat 2311 CAPS was personally hand picked by our alderman and is the wife of a key attorney at the Uptown Peoples Law Center ... the law firm that specializes in keeping drug dealers and gangbangers out of jail.  Talk about a conflict of interests.
