My magnificent mermaids were created by Anne at "Gold Bell Babyz." Undine, the redhead, was customized for me by Sandi of "Forever Babyz." I just wanted her to have gray eyes & bobbles to match the chain costume I love to dress her in! (To me, it looks like fish scales.) Want to see more of her?
Fifi--with the light-brown hair & dark brown eyes--is one of my "daughter babyz" because "Fifi" was Charlotte's baby nickname. (The other one is Carlotta, since the real Charlotte now has auburn hair!)
Fifi, Smilla (platinum blonde) and Diane (brunette) are some of my oldest babyz. At the time I Adopted them it was a big deal to have babyz with different numbers of piggies with different color bobbles. I was choosing the haircolors and piggie numbers to be able to quickly tell my babyz apart; to make sure each one had a distinct appearance. (How far hairstyling has come since then!)
Jimmy (once made available as a download named Justin Jenkins at "Little Feet") appears on my "Milestones" page, and in many of the babyz cartoons. Lovable little John Paul, who I adopted around the time of the Pope's death, modelled for my "Babyz Expressions" picture here (joined by Dante of the Carrot Top Playgroup.) He's an example of a boy baby with "girly eyebrows," shortened eyelashes--which look exceptionally good on boy baby's eyes--and a lowered hairline. I wish I knew where I got him: Just some modest little site with a few downloadables that I've since lost track of!
I've never been crazy about blonds in the game, but Ingrid's blond braids & brown eyes got to me. She's just starting her "modelling career." Diane and all the other (regular) babyz have gone out to Pageants, and Ingrid looks particularly nice in Christmas colors, so I have some hope for her in the near future.
I'm curious: what will the Fish look like when they learn to walk?? The Mermaids?? And can they all disco?? Well, something to think about...
