How you should use your hands

I have studied the bible with the computer and searched for the words "hand" and "hands". I found the quotations below.

EXODUS 9:33
So Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh and spread out his hands to the Lord; then the thunder and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.

NUMBERS 27:23
And he laid his hands on him and inaugurated him, just as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.

DEUTERONOMY 34:9
Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel needed him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.

1 KINGS 8:54
And so it was, when Solomon had finished praying all his prayer and supplication to the Lord, that he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

2 CHRONICLES 6:12-13

ACTS 19:6
And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

ACTS 28:8
And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him.

ROMANS 10:21
But to Israel he says: "All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people."

2 TIMOTHY 1:6
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Notice that nowhere the words "clasping one's hands" is written. On the contrary, in several places is written about persons who prayed to God with lifted hands. This should obviously be the correct way of using your hands when you pray to God. In other places is written about healing sick people by laying hands on them.
