The time between Samhain and Yule is a dark time, a time of waiting and of introspection. The days are short, the weather is cold, the land is desolate. This is the time for turning inward, facing the fears we have of darkness, coldness, desolation. In facing our fears, we find they lose their power over us. Seek that which you fear most, and you will find it is hidden within you. And if it is within you, it is within you also to overcome this fear, to turn over a new leaf. Take time now to reflect on something you fear or something you wish to be rid of. When you are ready, write it on a leaf, and we will each cast them into the cauldron, knowing that during these dark days coming, we will be able to cast off our darkness and be filled with light again!
