Dreams and Machinery
Ever since my childhood, I have been amazed by machines and their unique ways of functioning and carrying out tasks. My interest in machinery was first conceived as a fascination with trains. I collected every toy train I could, and in time my collection grew quite large. Anything having even the faintest connection to trains caught my interest, even children shows like "Thomas the Train Engine" were fondly watched as I was a child. My greatest joy came out of actually riding on a train, and oft time enough, my parents would take me to Colorado to ride the train lines in the mountains. Essentially, it paved the road for a life filled with the study of machinery.

As I grew older, my interest in machinery seemed to subside, but that all changed when my parents purchased a computer for my family in 2000. What interests have faded over the years had returned as I was amazed by such processes as how an email is sent half-way around the world and the endless amount of information that only required a few clicks to locate. Almost all of my freetime was spent online, and soon the internet was a sanctuary where I could escape all the problems and stress of my life. It changed my life for both the best and worst, and over time, much of the changing factors in my life were contributed to by the internet. Being the inquisitive type, I often researched information about religion and the occult, as well as animal studies. I amassed a great foundation of knowledge in time, and I was on my way to becoming a well-informed intellectual.

Nowadays I'm studying automotive mechanics and aerodynamics. When I go to college, I hope to pursue three major degrees in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, and Egyptology. Engineering is a field that naturally perks my interest and is capable of being a very fullfilling and satisfying profession in life. I spend a great deal of time researching aviation and the underlying functioning of car engines, as well as investing time in repairing vehicles. Some people may say that I'm still too young to be worrying about my future, but as I say, it's best to be prepared when the time finally comes. Life is like a game of poker, if you know what you're up against and play your cards right, then you'll succeed. But if you foolishly take life for granted, then it's game over. But regardly of what happens to me, I'll always remain optimistic and focused on my goal, and never give up.
