Feb. 6.
Finally, after a great and hard labor, I have found the Museum of Fine Arts. I have found it!! It took me to get to there about 30 minutes and I had to ride the Subway. This is my second time (I went there once with the whole class) that I have been to this museum. I feel excited. My grandmother was sent to go with me because my mom thinks I will lost the camera. (What if I did lose it? Oh my god, I can't imagine what will happen to me) My grandma brings my two cousins ~ Bill and Vanna. Unfortunately, my grandma thinks it requires tickets to go inside the Museum of Fine Arts. So she leaves me with twenty bucks and I went inside the museum myself. The girl at the admission table asks what school I was in and ask if I am 17 or under. I tell her that I am in BLA (Boston Latin Academy) and I am 13. She let me in for free. I was very happy that I didn't have to pay. Feb. 7.
I left home and got to the museum at 12 P.M. I went into the Greek section and took a few pictures. At about 1, the guard shouted at a man who is using a digital camera. I went there and checked it out. Then I figure out that the man is using a flash. Here is the conversation! (This is not funny, hahaha)The following people don't want their name to be revealed.
Woman: Honey, you can't take pictures in here.
Me: Of course you can, you just need to turn off the Flash.
Man 1: What flash! I know no flash in my camera.
Then Man 1 takes a picture of the vase nearby.
Guard: Hey you!
Man 2: Who? Me? Are you talking to me, what have I done?
Guard: No, not you. Hey you! Over there.
Me: Oh my god, I am so tired of people making fun of my name by saying Hey You! My name is not, for the last time, Hey You. It's Hei Yiu!
Guard: Who says I am talking to you? By the way, you have a nice name. Who gives you that name? Hahaha! Yo! You over there with a camera and wearing purple shirt.
Man 1: This is no purple shirt. This is red!
Woman 1: Honey, you are wearing a purple shirt.
Guard: What are you? Colorblind or something? Everybody can see that is a purple shirt.
Man 1: Oh No, I am colorblinded!!! Oh my god, please forgive me.
Woman 2: Oh, honey, you are wearing your red sunglass again.
Guard: Now you two loving couple can leave the museum. Hei Yiu, what are you laughting at? What's so funny?
Fournately, I was told not to use flash by my Latin teacher. But, I am still angry because someone is making fun of my name. Whew...I was lucky. Before I get home, I buy a hamburger. That's all for now, folks.
I found the picture on the left hand side on the first floor in room 1A01 Classical-Italic and Etrusian Art It's called kylix(cup). I realize that Romans made many of these cups. I wonder why? Click here to see more art and other items you can find in the Museum of Fine Arts. The museum is so big that I almost got lost. I meet a kid who is drawing on a large piece of paper. His name is Joshua. I got to say this, his drawings are a lot better than mine. (Well, some of his drawings are better than mine) Before I go to check out the Greek Vases section, he draws a picture of me and gives it to me as a gift. I am so happy. I still have the drawing hanging on my wall. (Although somtimes I still get freak out by his picture, but I still kind of like it) Then I start taking pictures with my camera. I go home at 4 P.M that day.
