high-flying dunks, athletic ability and all-around power game.
This led to him winning the rookie of the year, and almost taking
the Toronto Raptors to their first ever playoffs. Vince is
capable of playing either the small forward or off guard
positions due to his excellent speed and leaping abilities.
Before Carter entered the NBA he also rose quickly through the
ranks of college, averaging 7.5, 13.0 and 15.6 points per game

ready for the NBA and he made himself eligible for the draft. He
was selected number five in the draft by the Warriors and then
immediately traded to the Raptors for his former Tarheel
teammate, Antawn Jamison. This season he has been starring each
game getting one, if not more plays in the NBA's top 10 plays
each week! Vince Carter has just won the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk
contest beating his cousin Tracy McGrady and some other bloke!
