From parted curtains....
Catch a glimpse of romance as portrayed about the 1800's. Let these images captivate your imagination as you ponder how life was for this mistress of the evening.
The girls of "Hall House" under the watchful eye of Madame Dakota Rose "Isabelle" was known by many from town to town on the frontier. An opportunist, she changed her name and story with the weather, though she could never escape her truth.
Lounging was expected in the daytime, for no matter the population or day of the week, evening work was plentiful.
Many girls would have 'trading cards' made for their favorite regulars to carry on the trail and remind them of what they should return for. This is a replica of one such picture.

A special touch at Hall House was catered bathing. This was not only enjoyable by the guest, but was required by the establishment in an effort to keep the girls happier and healthier.
A fancy hat could draw plenty of attention on an outing.
Reflecting on the evening, and pondering what is to come...
