| Eddie is very reluctant to be on TV but he still goes on every now and again to promote films or stage shows. He even made his own sitcom called Cows about...you guessed it...cows. H ehas done quite a lot of stage performances the most recent being A Day in the death of Joe Egg which is on BBC FOUR on the 7th August. He was alos on some Rex the Runt episodes doing the voices of some charcters. He's been in loads of TV shows and even had his own s=special show one christmas called Channel Izzard. Oh I just remembered Eddie did this little hand puppet show thing at the beginning of a movie, except I can't remember which one. | Though his passion for wearing dresses is well-known, he appeared in men's clothing on the show, though indulged in a lot of make-up. He is also a rare breed in correcting Angus's intro for his second appearance, and the only guest ever to come up with an instant suggestion in the Caption Competition, as opposed to the usual practice of waiting until the end of the show. During his three episodes as guest captain, he kicked up a stink about getting impossible Odd One Out questions, and enjoyed celebrating getting answers right by throwing his pen around. He also briefly managed to con Angus by claiming he had given a correct answer to a Missing Words headline when he hadn't, causing him to smirk behind his arm when the host agreed to give him the points. | This is a play about a couple who struggle to bring up a severly mentally handicapped child. It yet more proof of Eddie's acting skills and that he can play diverse roles...as he has said before, he doesn't want to be confined to comedy. | Eddie's very own show dedicated to his weird state of thought as we see"Speed Archeology" and Lust for Glorious which you only see a glance of at the beginning of Glorious. Sadly, it was only a one-off thing and the TV won't show it again despite me personally e-mailing channel 4 asking for them to repeat it. This is what they said: Dear Helen, this was really just a one off, with Eddie Izzard actually sort of taking over Channel4 for the evening, I will pass on your request though to our scheduling department.
