Cramped Quarters was located in Hyde Park. This place was a complete dump, one wall unit air conditioner, always was hot, musky, & there were mice & rats. This is where the band Steckler got their start though. It was basically the size of maybe a bedroom & the closet was where the drums were set up to kind of "isolate" the sound. After time the closet began to leak & they were moved elsewhere. There are many stories around this place but the most popular is the nextdoor neighbor,Joe. This guy I believe is the simpiliest man to walk the earth. His place was so small he didn't even have a bedroom, just a living room. He had a cat (that ran away), a grill that he kept outside that he cooked on everynight & a really small boat that he would take to his moms house to go boating, he had to have a friend come & pick it up because he had no car, just a bike that he road everywhere. We always made a joke that when we were making fun of the poor guy he was outside the window crying just ready to ask us to his cook out.

Bands that recorded here: Steckler, (Great) Red Spot, Haves and Thirds
