Kim Heilman: The Wilderness Girl


Kim's Biography:

Born September 10, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona. Moved to Florida in 1986.
Moved to Alaska in 2005.

Kim joined The Charlotte Players in 1993. Her first play was in
August 1993 at the age of 11. She played the part of Cinderella
in "The Magic Bookshelf". In December of 1993, she appeared as
one of the townspeople in "Little Match Girl". In March of 1994,
she played the part of Spike in "Pan the Man". In August of 1994,
she appeared as Olga in "The 12 Dancing Princesses". She appeared
in December 1994 as the ghost of Christmas present in the production
"A Christmas Carol".

In 1995, she starred in her first film, the widely unknown "Wilderness Girl."
Kim wrote the script while playing the lead role.

In 1996, she joined the drama club at her high school and appeared as
one of the widows in the play "Of Widows and Vegetables". She also
appeared in "Crazy for You" as one of the showgirls.

In 1996 she also joined Stars of Tomorrow, starting tap lessons and
taking part in their recitals and their annual recital.

In 1996, she assumed the role of Augusta in the production of "Down to Earth",
and later that year enjoyed the role of a Follies dancing girl in the
production "Will Rogers Follies"....

Also in 1996, she appeared in "The Sheet Monster" while also working on
various projects with film director Jack Flack. Throughout the following
years, she would continue to get small roles in his films while also
writing many movie scripts.

After graduating High School in 2000, she began her college career.
Kim graduated from the University of Florida in 2004 with a bachelor's
degree in Zoology, while also getting married along the way
She currently lives in Alaska with her husband where she works as a
biological land surveyor.
