Ok, just a few things I've noticed on this board. Just felt like giving all of you a heads up and hopefully help you avoid them.

1) NO religion! There is none on Gaian. Gaians may believe in a soul, or that they go to a better place when they pass on, but nothing more.

2) NO Earth! Gaians don't know that their ancestors originally came from Earth. They just know that the first Gaians were located on one of the Three Sister Islands, then later left to go North to now Morning Star Castle & Heights. They later returned to the Three Sister Islands when the land became fertile again.

3) NO Weyr or Holds! A weyr is a Pern thing, not a Gaian thing. What you usually call a Weyr is called a Heights on Gaian (hence the name of this board). Holds are called Castles on Gaian. The only hold related thing that is the same is Cothold. That's it.

4) NO Lord Holders! Lord Holders are called Castle Lords. Minor Holder are called Minor Castle Lords. Cotholders are called Cotholders.

5) Title Problems! Ok, here's the run down. At the Heights the female leader is called the Heightswoman (only), the male leader is called the Heightsleader (only). The female dragon leader is called the Empress. The male dragon leader is called by his name or color. He is not called the Emperor, for he can be replaced witha snap of the fingers, unlike the Empress, who will be in such a position until she or her rider dies.

6) Castle sizes! Ok, a (major) Castle is about the size of a of an average city, so populations in the thousands. Minor Castle size is about the size of a village, often a cluster of a family and extended family. So population is 1,000 or under. A cothold is like a farm, run by one family or maybe two (but of the same blood line).
