Method |

Wash rice is cold water and soak for 30 mins. In a thick bottom heat the ghee and fry all the spices in it. Drain the rice and add it to the ghee and fry very well till all the water is evaporated and the rice are single and separate. then add the 2 cups water and cover When half done add salt and mix and cook till water evaporates and rice is cooked. The ratio of rice to water is 1:2.
This is a very easy way to make nice fragrant rice. You can also add stock of chicken or vegetable to give it an extra taste.
