In a fish pot add amount of oil and fry fenugreek till slightly brown then add mustard seeds small onions waity to pop then add all the spices reducing the heat as the fumes may suffocate you. fry cillie powder, corriander powder, termeric powder till nice and deep red dont over fry or itl burn. then to this add about 1/4 cup water and make thick pate and let it come to a boil. then once it boils add another cup of water and again bring to boil.add fish , curryleave, tamarind and salt once it boils and let it cook till liquid reduces and fish is cooked through.. |
