| Scalloped Potatoes and Onions |
| 4 - 5 large potatoes 2 large onions 4 tablespoons of oleo 2 cups of milk salt and pepper Into a baking dish put a layer of thin sliced potatoes, salt, pepper, and dots of oleo. Then add a layer of thin sliced onions. Cover these with more dots of oleo, salt and pepper. Repeat until all potatoes and onions are used. Pour enough milk over potatoes and onions to coverthem. Cook in a moderate oven until potatoes are well browned on the top. These proportions may be varied according to the size of the dish and the number of people you gotta feed.... |
