Pavlova
6 eggs whites
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/4 t vanilla
1 t vinegar
heavy whipping cream
chocolate bar
fruit of your choice (banana or kiwi is traditional)

pre-heat oven to 375 (turn down to 225 once you put pavlova in)
beat eggs whites until stiff peaks form (this will take AWHILE)
all the while slowly adding all the sugar
after peaks form, add vinegar and vanilla--beat only as much as you need to in order to mix them in
large oven safe plate--cut wax paper to cover, put egg mixture on plate (before you put egg mixture on it spray the hell out of the paper with pam)
bake for 1 1/2 hours
let cool completely in frig

topping:
beat heaving whipping cream until it is well, whip cream
add sugar to taste
spread on top of cooled meringue
shave some chocolate on top for decoration

add some fruit on top (sliced--not much) for decoration)
