Happy Spring to all!! We are really settling in now and trying to get into the swing of being "Swiss". We are really looking forward to the Summer and the constant sun, until 10 pm!

We are already planning for a huge Fete in July for the World Famous Montreux Jazz Festival. We are going to have a weekend "Open House" and hope to encourage everyone to join us for the opening weekend of festivities. We have a friend's band that has been asked to perform for the festival in the main theater and they are giving us tickets! We are really excited to watch them and all the other performers. The Jazz Festival is HUGE and Star Studded so this should be quite an event. We have been told that our apartment is in the thick of it so we will be thrown all sorts of bribes to use our flat by the VIP's, HAHAHA, we will see.

I hope the Spring has brought all sorts of new things growing to you all. Peter and I have started a serious work-out program of running and strength training. Unfortunately, the thing we have found growing is US, growing OUT!!!

We have grandpa and grandma visiting us for Easter. We can't wait to see them. We are all jumping on a train and visiting Milan for 3 days. Then we return for short little hops to the Swiss castles, Olympic museum, hike in the Alps and a trip to Evian France. We are also expecting a visit from aunt Jerri and uncle Tom at the end of May and my sister Jody in May too. We are so excited to see everyone.
