Meet the Family.......... Of Frenzal Rhomb!!!

Frenzal Rhomb are a 4-piece punk band hailing from the outer suburbs of Sydney.
The Australian punk unit formed in 1993.
Jay Whalley (Vox), Lindsay McDougall (Guitar - second in succession, first being Benjamin), Lex Feltham (Bass) and Gordy Foreman (Drums - third in succession including Karl and Nat)

Frenzal Rhomb have built their fame over the past decade on a foundation of dreadlocks, horse-races, fun-catchy tunes, mountains of hardcore fans, and dirty clothes.
They quickly built their reputation as one of Australia's most fierce live acts when they played the legendary Big Day Out festival in Sydney some years ago to over 15,000 underage punk rockers, several thousand of whom tore the main tent to the ground and caused an evacuation of the site. The riot gained national network coverage and the band went on the become an all ages phenomenom to millions across the nation. Since then, Frenzal Rhomb have toured Australia with bands such as The Offspring, NOFX, Bad Religion, Propagandhi, Blink 182 and H20.
The aggressive brand of punk rock found its home on their 2nd Debut album in 1995 Coughing Up A Storm (the first being Dick Sandwich, in 1994) which was banned by distributors before its release for a highly complex legal reason which may or may not have something to do with the level of obscenity. The album was re-released in 1996 under the title Once A Jolly Swagman Always A Jolly Swagman. The impending realese of their follow up album Not So Tough Now had legions of teenagers throughout Australia biting their fingernails in anticipation. The band signed to Australian label Shock Records and within 3 months became one of the biggest selling independant acts in the country. Teichku Records from Japan and Rubber Records from America quickly caught on when they watched Frenzal do a national tour with Blink 182 and Less Than Jake.
Kevin Lyman (Vans Warped promoter) heard their CD and invited them on the 1998 Australian Vans Warped Tour. It was an enormous success and earned them a spot as the only international act on the 1998 Vans Warped Tour USA. Meet The Family was released on Rubber Records in June 1998 and A Man's Not A Camel followed in 1999. Shut Your Mouth was released late 2000 before a national tour with H20 to support the release.
