| 1st WEEK ENTRIES (Count : 2 entries)
14/2/2007 1st Week 1st entry: Lew Wei Wei(052228U): Ok, so I'm supposed to get new dungeons up. So I'm thinking of making a mechanical dungeon where the player can enter by going to the reactors you can see outside town currently. It's in the process. Lee Tai Yun(052205U): Fine tuned the battle system. Players are able to kill the other monster now in battle and only by killing all the monsters, the round will be won. Brian Ngin Guan Wei(052681T): Solved the camera bug not able to move with the new building. Tolerance bar feature done. Battle system changed with tolerance bar introduced. Random stats at the start interface done. Tay Kang Rong Dominic(053373X): Fog Effect is out, Rain is done has random timing of rain. 17/2/07 1st Week 2nd entry Lew Wei Wei(052228U): So, amidst making the dungeon, I thought it would be better if the player was able to walk up stairs and stuff, in other words, move along the y-axis, which we currently do not have. So I've stopped the new dungeon for now and am working on height map detection. The schedule has also been changed to accomodate for this. Ngin Guan Wei Brian(052681T): Optimised the whole battle system code to make it truely turn-based now which solved a lot of random bugs appearing in the turn-based battle. Battle system also able to create more monsters dynamically. These monsters created can have their own specific AI tweaked easily. Optimised our project file size by deleting uneccessary files inside the NYP Framework and in our project (file size will be smaller in beta release). Source codes more organised now. Lee Tai Yun(052205U): Did party system this week and solved a problem of texturing the particles inside particle system with Dominic. Done with enabling the player to attack the other monsters in battle Tay Kang Rong Dominic(053373X): Looking at Combat graphics now, making adjustment to the rain effect to make it more 3D like Development blog 2nd week |
