Dawn was trying to be adult about this but she felt as if her whole world was tumbling down around her. Spike was the only good thing in her life. Buffy had become so self involved that she never even noticed Dawn anymore. Which would suit her just fine....but mom was dead...and she was alone. All the scoobies thought about anymore was Buffy. "Pet I have to go. If I stay she'll stake me, either way I leave you niblet." Spike looked at Dawn, she seemed so alone, something that he could identify with all to well. Dawn couldn't hold it back anymore, she started to cry. "Then take me with you. Don't leave me here alone." Spike could see that her heart was breaking and truth be told so was his. He grabbed his bag and intended to walk right past her and out the door. Instead he found himself standing in front of her. "I'm sorry pet."
