| Awards Galore for the Under 18s at the HHYFC Presentation Night! Several of the squad received special awards at the club awards night in addition to their 2006-07 season momento. Awards this year were handed out by ex-pro Clive Walker, who gave a short speech outlining his playing career with Chelsea, Fulham, Sunderland, QPR, Brighton and a spell in the US. Over 1000 games in all! Tom, Shane and Alec received lifetime achievement awards for their impressive 9 years continuous service to the team starting at Under 10 level. Matt Darkins picked up Most Consistent Player AND Sponsors Award, whilst Sam Mullock received the Clubman Award. Brennan Knight was handed the Most Improved Player and the coveted Manager's Player and Player's Player Awards went to Simon Smith and Sean Burke respectively. The boys enjoyed a viewing of the Holland Tour Taster DVD after the presentation, which also entertained other club members who stayed behind. |
