It is with great happiness and pride that we would like to announce our first Champion here at Hedgelawn. On Saturday, May 8th, Manny went Winners Dog/Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED under breeder/judge Michael Woods at Chester Valley Kennel Club for a 3 point Major. Then on Sunday, May 9th, he went Winners Dog/Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED,under breeder/judge Liz Muthard at the Lancaster Kennel Club Dog Show Red Rose Classic.
Finally, on July 16th he received his last point at Nita-Nee Kennel Club under judge Sue Goldberg. Don't laugh, nearly everyone knows why we say "finally"!
Manny was breeder/owner handled to his championship and has just turned 18 months old. He is the 2nd generation born and bred here. He is out of our lovely Missy
and by BISS CH. Surry's Brick In The Wall - "Mason".
Manny is Optigen A1 as are both of his parents.
He was OFA prelim'd at 1 year of age.
Hips - good Elbows - clear.
He has been colored tested and carries no chocolate.
We couldn't be more pleased and just wanted to share our good news! Thanks to all of you who supported, encouraged and were just plain there for us along the way to our first Champion and for all your kind words about Manny, oh yeah, we mean Ch. Hedgelawn Sharp Dressed Man...thanks again! An extra big thank you to "Grammy" (Tam's mom) who takes such great care of all the dogs and puppies here at Hedgelawn whenever we are away!
