Squaresoft has recently announced that the highly anticipated
release of Crystal Chronicles is scheduled for Feb 10th 2004.
Although knowing Squaresoft I give it about another month
after that =). The Gamecube is a new platform for Squaresoft
and should make for a very interesting game. Crystal
Chronicles has GBA connectivity and can support a whopping
16 players at any one time. In actual fact a GBA is
essential as it is used to view the status and map screens.
The games main purpose is to support four players but there
is a single player as well, although single player is
reportedly fairly sloppy. It has a play time of around
60-80 hours unless you play with 16 players then it
would be considerably less.
