What is Wicca?
Wicca in general is a religion that is peaceful and nature loving.  Yes Wiccans do believe in magick and they practice it often.  Magick is found in every living thing.  Yes even you contain magick within your very being.  Wiccans are peaceful and obey a single law, In harm none do what thou will.  They obey this law so carefully because of the law of Karma.  This law is known in the craft as the three fold law.  The three fold law states: What ever you do comes back to you three fold, three times bad and three times good.  Wiccans do not believe in the existence of the devil.  He is a creation made by Christianity to convert people.  Christianity is not a bad religion neither is any other religion in the world.  There is no one true religion because the gods come to people in ways that can be easily understood to them.  In Wicca there are two main dieties: the Goddess and her consort the God.  I prefer to think of him as the All father or the Great Horned One.  The Goddess is often refered to as the Lady, Our Lady, Blessed Mother, Eather Mother as so forth.  The Goddess is identified with the Ocean, ponds, lakes, streams, and the Moon.  More often than not she is refered to as the Moon.  The Great Horned One rules the land, the forests and the sun.
Wiccans can practice two ways: solitary or in a Coven.  I am currently a Solitary practioner.  That means that I practice on my own.  Other Wiccans practice in a Coven which is a group of Wiccans that meet to celebrate the sabbats and other things together.
Wiccans believe in the balance of nature and life and strive to have both in balance.  Living a life of balance is very important.  Floating up in the clouds all the time is not a good thing.
There is much more to come so please bear with me.  This site is under constant construction.  The more information I find the more information I will be able to share with you.
